April- May Update

Some of the children from Sikeside and Carnbroe had the opportunity to visit the site of the new school. While they were there they planted potatoes, carrots and broadbeans, before visiting the viewing platform to see the new school.

After exploring the Emotion Works Cogs in P6/5, we created rainbows around our feelings moving to Riverbank P.S. Some of us are really excited and some of us feel a little bit nervous.

P2/1 are planting a variety of seeds to care for & watch while they grow.

P4 finishing off our Ocean Pollution Inventions with our friends from P4 and P5/4 Carnbroe Primary. Today we reported back to the rest of the group, sharing our fantastic ideas! #GlobalGoals

P7/6 met up with their friends from Carnbroe Primary to participate in a local walk as part of their work towards the John Muir Award. They had a great time finding out more about the eco systems in their local environment.

Primary 3/2 had an amazing time at Summerlee Heritage Park. We learned even more about The Victorians whilst having fun with our friends. We had the opportunity to try on some Victorian clothes and play with some Victorian toys.

Our Star writers have been developing their writing skills over a variety of genres. This session we have created some fantastic poems, reports, narrative stories and personal recounts.

Well done to our Star Race winners who have shown a great attitude to their learning.
